The Clanwilliam Golf Club meanders at the foot of the beautiful Cederberg Mountain range, in Clanwilliam, Cederberg in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It sits roughly 200 kilometres north from Cape Town. Clanwilliam GC is a 9 hole golf course that was established in 1944. It is an originally blueprint by legendary golf course engineer Gary Player.

Clanwilliam Golf Course is a Par 35 golf course. In developing the course, architect Gary Player blended this parkland course in sync with the natural jagged and mountainous terrain resulting in a golf course which looks as if it is a true work of nature.

Clanwilliam golf course experiences great weather. It receives conditions similar to Mediterranean weather, with hot and dry sunny weather conditions during summer. It receive much of its precipitation during the winter season. The scenery backdrop is a tourist attraction on its own. It offers beautiful mountains, rock art, historical buildings, bird watching and scenic beauty of flowers. The town is the only rooibos plantation town in the world.
